Versare Cafe and Market -Chesterland

Our Saturday brunch tradition continued today September 8th, 2023. We wanted to scope out a library near an apple picking place in Chesterland for the residency book club next week, so we decided to find a place in Chesterland after acupuncture. 

We weren't sure whether Versare would fit the bill, since most of their food seemed to be on the light side, but we decided the excellent drink selection outweighed the doubts. Plus, there was a diner in the same strip mall if things went south. 

Drinks: P had a decaf Ceylon tea and Z had a Matcha latte 

The drinks were indeed excellent, but the lunch/more substantial and less carb-filles portions of the menu do not open until 11am. So we waited about 15 minutes to order. 

The food:

z had chicken kefetedes with tzatziki sauce, which we're filling and excellent. P had the Greek yogurt parfait bowl, which was also great. 

Z also ordered a bacon, spinach, and parmesan strata, which took a very long time to arrive. The strata itself was great, but the time took so long that the employees eventually comped the strata. We asked for ketchup, but they only had balsamic vinegar, which ended up pairing well.
